Israel Confirms Military Support to India During May Conflict With Pakistan
In a major revelation, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that in May 2025, Israeli -manufactured drones and missiles were provided to India during a four -day conflictwith Pakistan.
Confirmation From Netanyahu
During a meeting with the Ambassador of India at Israel, JP Singh, and a separate conversation with Indian journalists in Jerusalem, Netanyahu admitted that Israel had supplied India with military equipment:
- HARPY and Harop loitering drones
- Barak-8 missile systems
In a post on X (FormerlyTwitter), Netanyahu said that the two countries discussed the expansion of cooperation, especially in security and economics.
“The things we provided before worked very well on the field,” said Netanyahu, adding that Israeli weapons are “battle-tested” and “worked fine” during the operation.
India-Israel Defence Ties
India remains Israel’s largest defense customer, who has bought around $ 2.9 billion in military equipment in the last decade. This recent struggle is one of the most direct uses of Israel’s weapons by India in an active war against another nation.
